Custom Home Maintenance LLC ("CHM," "we," "us") takes care of private homes across Los Angeles County. This policy covers what we collect through customhomemaintenance.com, by phone, by text and by email, what we do with it, and the choices you've got.
What we collect
- What you give us. Your name, email, phone number, property address and whatever you write when you fill out our contact form, call, text or email us.
- What we need to do the work. For clients, that's details about your home, access instructions, schedules and how you like things done. For vendors, it's your business name, license, insurance and payment details.
- What your browser sends. Our site uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. They set cookies and collect things like your browser type, the pages you visit and the general area you're visiting from. We use that to see how the site gets used. It doesn't tell us who you are.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and give you a quote.
- To schedule and do the work at your property, and keep you posted while it's happening.
- To coordinate with the vendors and staff working on your home.
- To send and receive estimates, approvals and invoices.
- To keep our records and meet our tax and legal obligations.
We don't sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only what's needed to get the job done:
- Vendors and staff working on your property, when they need your address, access details or a phone number to do that work.
- Companies that run our business tools, like email, phone and texting, file storage and accounting. They can only use it to provide their service to us.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or when we need to protect someone's safety or our legal rights.
Text messaging and your mobile number
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories of sharing listed above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties.

How long we keep it
As long as we're working together. After that, only as long as we need it for tax, legal or insurance records.
How we protect it
Client records are only open to the people who need them. Access codes and financial details sit in restricted storage with tighter access still. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously. We're trusted with the keys to people's homes.
Your choices
- See, fix or delete your information. Email us at patricia@customhomemaintenance.com and we'll get back to you within 30 days. If we have to keep something for tax or legal reasons, we'll tell you what and why.
- Stop texts. Reply STOP to any message from us.
- Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google also offers an opt-out add-on for Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Do Not Track. Our site doesn't currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
Children
Our site and services are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change it, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If it's a big change, we'll let our clients know directly.
