Frequently Asked Questions
How much does the monthly subscription cost?
Pricing varies based on your home’s initial condition, repair needs, and the level of ongoing service required. Once your home transitions into preventative maintenance mode, the monthly cost typically decreases. What is the commitment period for the subscription?
We recommend a one-year agreement to ensure all repairs and preventative systems are fully optimized. However, homeowners may cancel anytime with a 30-day notice, as outlined in your service contract.
What if I decide this service is not for me? Can I cancel?
Of course. While we hope to continue caring for your home long-term, we understand that circumstances can change. We offer both monthly and yearly payment options (with additional savings for annual plans). If you choose to cancel, we simply ask for one month’s notice. For yearly subscribers, we’ll refund the remaining balance—adjusted to reflect the standard monthly rate for services already rendered.
Do you upcharge on vendor estimates?
No. CHM operates with complete transparency. We never add hidden fees or upcharges to vendor estimates. All proposals are sent directly to you for review and approval before any work begins. We also ensure that every vendor provides detailed, line-item estimates so you can see exactly where your investment is going.
Do I need to be home every time a vendor is scheduled?
Not at all. Most of our clients provide CHM with secure access—such as a key, entry code, or lockbox—so we can manage appointments on their behalf. Your dedicated home manager will meet with each contractor in person, oversee the work, and ensure everything runs smoothly without disrupting your day.
Will vendors be working in my home without supervision?
Never. Your home manager is always present whenever vendors are on-site. They carefully monitor all activity to ensure your home is respected, your privacy is protected, and all work meets CHM’s exacting standards. We take great pride in safeguarding your property and maintaining the highest level of professionalism and care at all times.
